After much difficulty, I’ve returned to using the PicoSearch search engine. I might at some point use Google again, but until I can figure out how to update the index, no, thank you!

A Tale of Two Search Engines
June 17, 2009Search Engine
June 11, 2009If you notice on the main page, there is a new Google Search Engine.
It searches the whole website (including marriages) and I think is already doing a better job than the older Picosearch Engine.
Let me know if you have any problems with it.
UPDATE June 16, 2009: The search engine works wonderfully, except it doesn’t update very easily – if at all, currently.
I will continue to add things to the website, but until I figure out how to update the index, the new information won’t be found on searching.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and I’ll let you know as soon as the glitch has been fixed.
