My name is Fred Farber. I live in Henderson Ky. It sounds like you were at my dads cousins, William Farbers house. If you remember that a greenhouse was out front then that was the place. Can you tell me the name of the Farber who married Elsie Buchanan, Albert Buchanan’s sister? I remember being at their house years ago. It was up on a hill overlooking Drakesboro. They were very nice people. Thank you, Steve

When it comes to genealogy, there’s nothing like an official record to punch holes in what you thought you knew! I had heard that my great aunt Gertrude Cardwell Bennett died when she was struck by lightening at her home. The death record says otherwise. So goes another family story. Thanks to the person who posted this certificate. I’ll pass the word to all of my cousins.

Hi, Marilyn. Sorry for the delay in responding. I haven’t been on the Muhlenberg web site for a while. I’ll be glad to exchange info, although I don’t have a lot on the Griffiths except what I’ve picked up from other researchers. I’ve done no independent research yet on this line, but I’d love to learn more.

Are you related to Cheryl Cessna, a Muhlenberg researcher who lives in California (I think)?
